FAQ
Why did you start charging for tips?
We started tipping for free on Betting Kingdom before moving to our private service in May 2016. Quickly we realized that tennis tipping is near enough a full time job and as a result needed to charge in order to maintain the quality and professionalism of our service.
How much money do I need to join Tennis Pilot Tips?
We recommend a starting bankroll of at least £500 or equivalent with £5 or £10 as your average stake.
How many bookmaker accounts do I need?
The more the better. Bet365, Unibet, 888Sport, William Hill, Betfair and Paddy Power are a good start. Others to consider are Betvictor, Coral, Ladbrokes, Skybet, Marathon, Betway, Spreadex, Sportingbet, SportingIndex, 10Bet, SportNation, Boylesport and Bwin. For non UK subscribers you may need to do some research if the above are not available. We also recommend you join one or more betting exchanges such as Betfair, Matchbook, Smarkets and Betdaq.
When do you send tips?
Tips are usually sent between 20:00 and 22:00 London time the day before match play begins. We will sometimes send tips during the day either when markets were not open the day before or we find additional value. We promise a minimum of 90 minutes between tips being sent and play starting and usually give 12 hours or more.
How do you send selections?
Tips are emailed to subscribers and presented in an intuitive, easy to use grid format. We include the date, time, tournament, match, selection, best price, minimum price, recommended stake and a link to the Oddschecker URL for each selection.

How many tips can I expect?
Roughly 2 tips a day (60 tips a month) across the year. There is usually no main tour tennis in December, in which case we do not charge for this month.
What type of bets are provided?
We use a range of over 10 markets. The top 5 make up around 85% of our bets. In no particular order they are: match odds, set overs, total games, total sets and outrights.  The remaining markets are: set betting, games handicap, set handicap, set winner, tiebreak in match, score after X games, accumulator, set score and set unders.

What staking plan do you use?
We use a point based staking system between 1 and 5. We advise 1 point as 0.5% to 1% of your bankroll depending on your risk tolerance. Never bet what you cannot afford to lose.
What if I miss the best odds or can't bet with the best bookmaker?
With every tip we include the best available odds and suggest the minimum odds at which we would place a bet. We track results from both. Our survey results have shown that almost all subscribers are able to get above minimum odds. From 2016 to 2022 our min odds ROI is 5%.

I place high stakes and am limited with most bookies, will I be able to place the bets?
We use more than 10 markets, several of which are available on highly liquid exchanges. Match odds is the best example as our selections are usually available on an exchange. Total games, total sets and outrights are also frequently available on liquid exchanges. These four markets take up around 67% of our bets.
Can I just try the service?
Yes, we offer a free first month on our monthly package.

Why should I trust Tennis Pilot?
Our results are available publicly 24/7. We started on BKTips, a reputable free tipping site, where you can still see our record. James also wrote for Sportsbook Review, a well established betting review site, for a period of time. Finally, we have several reviews by reputable reviewer websites including Smart Betting Club, who recorded a podcast episode with James, and Make Money Forum, who tracked their profit and made a 27.67% ROI from following our tips. We also offer a free trial as noted above. If you are still not convinced, drop us an email and we can answer any questions either via email or a phone call if you would prefer.

How easy is it to cancel?
Our monthly package can be cancelled anytime by a subscriber via PayPal. We offer a 7 day no questions asked money back guarantee on our 6 month and 1 year packages. Only the monthly package is recurring.
